“Life, Support, Music”
The documentary "Life, Support, Music" chronicles a young musician's progress after a bleed in his brain through return to quality of life. Through 24 hour care using life occupations meaningful to him, i.e., music, his wife, his daughter who was born after his "bleed", his family gave him his life back.
This is an incredibly inspirational film and speaks volumes about the value of meaningful occupation. All OTs would benefit from seeing this as they can appreciate the importance of family involvement in patient care, the importance of using the time covered by insurance as wisely and efficiently as possible, and the importance of hope.
