General Schedule: Third week of the month from September to June. No meetings are held in July or August. Dates and times may vary to accommodate presenters and holidays. 

Focus: The Mental Health Special Interest Group is one of MAOT's longest continually running SIGs. It is open to OT practitioners, retired and active of any interest/field, OT students, and anyone who is interested in learning and discussing various mental health topics in occupational therapy practice. We have open discussions and speakers on topics such as: Dual Diagnosis, Co-Regulation, Fat Bias, Mental Health and Chaplaincy, OCD, Sensory Based Treatment, Mental Health and Cultural Differences, Mental Health and Safety, and Managing through COVID. We also share resources and information about supplies, group topics and evaluations used in various Mental Health settings.
